Foam Air Cleaner Element for Holley Carb

Does anyone know where I can buy just the foam element for an Edelbrock air cleaner which is on my Holley carb?

I contacted "V8 Tuner", a dealer who I found on the internet, and whilst he was helpful he suggested that you couldn't buy just the element but had to buy the whole air cleaner, which he didn't have in stock anyway.

    Any Ideas?

Can't you just clean the foam element?:?

Monarch do replacement elements £18.50, are they the same as yours?

To much wine again a stagdad? Or is double vision normal?

Foam elements are normally washable, after washing you mustre-oil with the correct type of air cleaner oil see K&N filter site maybe

The actual foam is damaged so I need to buy a new one.:X

My air cleaner is a triangular sort of shape, and so is the foam, not round like Stagdad has shown. The mesh that contains the foam, and is part of the air cleaner, has the word Edelbrock attached to it.

Tony Hartsells that triangular filter with his holley convertion but he doesn't use a 7 degree angle on his adaptor plate to keep the carb level,(Stag engine leans backwards)so he can't fit the large round one like mine because the front of thr filter would be too high for the bonnet to shut.

                        Spot on Steve!

I ended up fitting a wedge plate under Tony Hart's kit to level the Holley, then I could fit my K&N pancake filter. Never liked the Edelbrock filter & returned it to HRS.

                        Cheers,

                        Mike.

I have the Edelbrock filter on the Stag I'm currently restoring with the HRS adaptor plate. When the car was running I was suspicious of its effectiveness because the front contacts the under bonnet pad which I suspected of choking the carb slightly. Although the triangular one looks great and is good for access I'd be happier with the pancake arrangement.

That was another reason why I fitted a wedge plate, the Edelbrock would not allow my bonnet to be closed!
