I had a chat today with my local gearbox specialist and he quoted approx £250 +VAT to re-bearing a diff plus the cost of CW+P if necessary, and he'll look at it for free and give his opinion. Sounds quite reasonable to me, maybe a job for the Winter, when and if I go ahead I'll report back.

3000 miles on, mine has developed a slight whine at 45-50ish at certain load. No slack or play and fine above and below that speed. Very annoying though.Comment

Does anyone know how rare the 2500PI LSD diff is?, are they easy to get hold of?.
