It's so good Terry, you drove as far as you could away from it, swam a bit, and then pitched your tent off North Africa.......

What's with being charged for entering Wales on the bridge?? You don't want to make a financial discouragement to visitors..... what they should do is charge to leave - most would be glad to pay

As to the daft road signs in both languages, some of which I am told are the answerphone message from the translators and no one checked.....

On a beautiful summer's day two English tourists were driving through Wales .

At Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllantysili ogogoch they stopped for lunch and one of the tourists asked the waitress 'Before we order, I wonder if you could settle an argument for us, can you pronounce where we are, very, very, very slowly?

The girl leaned over and said, 'Burrr gurrr king'!

At this point in case Gareth was wondering what's going on and questioning his decision to join the forum I thought I'd remind everyone of forum rule 3

This INANE banter may interrupt the flow of threads but as a whole will add to the enjoyment of the forum by making you feel part of the family that is the SOC

What's with the Anti Welsh banter. With a name like Gareth Evans I think the sail boat landed on the wrong side of the Bristol Channel at some point!

Wales certainly does have staggering(!) roads which pass through nice mountain scenery. This is a few miles from where I live - anice drive in the Stag but you need to watch out for the kamikaze sheep!!

I couldn't get any to pose in the photo, they all ran away!
