Renovo Hood Treatment Any good?

I have jsut purchased some Renovo hood protector, I applied the whole bottle using a paint brush just like it says, it soaked up very fast hense the amount used. But.. is it any good? Anyone used it before? I was thinking of doing this treatment at the end of every summer and was hoping that it would keep the hood in good order.

I have used the hood in the rain and no water has got in so I think the soft top I have is a good one.

Renovo is very good but i use this stuff now Fabsil which is much better

A car detailing mate told me about it and it is much better as a waterproofer and a lot cheaper than renovo it also makes the hood look very black as well

I also use Johnson Baby bath as car shampoo -(same mate uses it for car detailing) and swears by it - he reckons it dosent harm the paint and is better and cheaper than any car shampoo !!!

I said well if you can use it to was you Baby - you may as well use on your automotive baby as well :P

I have had good experiences with Renovo Ultra Proofer/protector - works very well, i do one treatment per year.
