real paranoia or ok

All,

Maybe I'm over worried butI've startedunderbody work which will last over the nextmonth or so and involves jacking the car up and down and leaving it without use over themonth - I notice each "corner" that I jack up and let down leaves that "corner" higher up than the other 3 - am I doing any damage to suspension/bearings etc by not using car to get the car to settle back down level- apologies for length and tediousness of post, but paranoia has set in :shock::shock::shock:

Hi Ian, you cant do any damage as long as you are jacking the car up in the right place. The will sit uneven until rolled back and forth or driven.

Not sad at all mate, how the hell else are you going to find out ? Better if you jack each end, but if she's in reasonable nick, I go along with what Andrew said, the only rider I would add, is don't do it with the doors open or removed, or the "T" bar removed, you might just distort the floorpan.
