my dash wood set arrived yesterday.unpacked today and it is a top job in standard straight grain.i would thoroughly recomend chapman and cliff(no connection etc).worked out well as i got a £100 voucher for £60 at national day auction.this is the second set they have done for me and both excellent.
C & C are a bit far away from sunny Essex - at the NEC Classic Car show there was another Veneering company and they were on a standwithgauges - a small stand at the top of the stairs where you went down into the lower hall.
I am sure they were from Bucks - Hemel or Aylesbury , but I cant remember their name or find them...
Does anyone know who it might be ?
I want them to match my existing woodwork for the bits that need replacing , rather than get a new full set.
There is a firm in Carpenders Park near Watford that do veneering for classic cars. They advertise on the classic car websites that advertise services.
