Overflow Pipes

Pleasecan anyone advise me where to route the overflow pipes in the pics attached? The first one is the carburetter overflow pipe which should have another pipe attached and run somewhere down the front of the engine but what route?

The second is the overflow bottle which I assume should have a pipe attached to this nozzle but where should the pipe lead to?

Carb oveflow pipe is secured by clip (pic below) and hangs down the front of the engine (long enough to clear engine bay). Theexpansion bottle overflowpipe is routed through the hole by the base of the bottle in your picture
