Mention “new world” and lots of people particularly those who enjoy a tipple, probably think of those rich and tasty wines from new vineyards around the world. If, like the 9,242 visitors the forum had last month (September), you had logged-in and had a look, you would have seen how an old club rule was applied to a new situation.
Rule 17, the rule that caused a lot of emotion and discussion and like many of the other rules, probably needs a review as the nature and membership profile of the club evolves. If it were my choice, I wouldn’t bother with rules, but that is probably why it isn’t my choice!
The BBC can replace Terry Wogan with Chris Evans, so radical change with a public institution is clearly possible and we watch with interest.
Using the email stagforum@anvuk.com you can now ask the forum questions and David “Greenstag” has volunteered to help get the answers together and if we have any space in the magazine, hopefully publish as well. Obviously if you don’t send anything in, we cant respond, so over to you! In the unlikely event we cant sort it, Russ, King of the Green, Kryten and resident guru on all things triumph, will offer his wisdom with a personal response.
Starting this month, we have Chris “V Mad” who has written up one of his projects when he helped a fellow member with a Weber Carb conversion. He has also written another one about his considerable experiences with Hoods and “Al-Stag” has written up the forums collective wisdom on the cooling system and modifications that can be used – both of these for later magazines.
Thank you to these volunteers.
