Stag Build details

My friend in holland has bought an english registered car and is now trying to register it in holland , Is there a site other than the british motor heritage site that he can find out when the car was built as it has been Imported from somewhere before , he thinks maybe the channel islands .

Surely the BMH can give the build date from just the chassis number and commission number info regardless of where the car was exported to or imported from.......

This may give him a genaral idea as to when it was built, but unless he knows the registration history I can't think of anything other than a BMH certificate which could substantiate his claim.
