Welcome. That looks like a very low rider. Watch out for the sleeping policemen!

                Thanks for the welcome lads

Vmad. car was lowered 1" 1/2. not sure I like it and roads where I am would not be great ( v bumpy!!).

This is my Second Stag. Last one was white as well, 22 years ago.

When the car does get here what are the first things I should check for??

                Rgds

                    Thanks Darren

always loved white Stags. I know all on here have their own personal choice - blue, red, brown, yellow, purple and the forty shades of green!!

Car was purchased in Heathrow and has history file with it. I have yet to see this but when the car arrives I will tell all as to what apparently has been done!!

I wonder has anyone on here come across this car before? maybe at club days out etc. see pic for reg no.

Also anyone know how many stags are in Ireland? I've seen 3 in 18 years!! Which is funny because when I spoke to the car transporter operator last week about bringing my car back he was in the north of England loading a red stag Ireland bound.
                    Maybe a new trend starting:dude::dude::dude:

That's another Devon number. I am sure I recognise it. Must look back through old photos.

Good luck with it. It looks good from the photos.

My first Stag went to NI (Bushmills, Belfast) last year and has been rebuilt (I bent it!). The current owner keeps promising to send me pictures, but I haven't got them yet. Reg number HYD700K.

                          Hi Seamus,

You say you got the car from the Heathrow area if this is the same car that the dealer put on Pistonheads, it did have 15inch wires on and he took them off and sold them separately on EBay, so the first thing I would check is that he replaced the wheel studs, as you have to cut them down to fit wires! and these would be a touch short with the alloys onThats if it the same car.

Anyway nice car enjoy and welcome to the Forum.

                          Regards

                          Steve

                              Hi Seamus,

Sorry cant help you there as I had to cut mine down to fit the wire wheels, but I am sure someone will get back to you with the correct length.

But you should be able to check by looking at the end of the stud to see if it has been cut, it will not have the same finish at the end as a normal stud
