    brake pipe routings

    Hi All

Does anyone have some good clear photos showing the brake pipe routingsin the middle and front of the car. I am specifically interested in the following:-

PDWA valve to the T piece situated at rear of car

    PDWA valve to nearside caliper

    PDWA valve to offside caliper

    Thanks in advance

    Bruce

Did anyone save the various photos that were on ebay of that stunning blue stag? If so, would they be able to send me the one that show the pipe routing along the underside and engine bay?

I have deleted my copies in error

    Thanks

    Bruce

I don't know about you, but after viewing those photo's on http://www.flickr.com/photos/arh96c/

              I suddenly feel very depressed.

Someone obviously has a very large amount of disposable cash to go to such fantasic lengths in a restoration project.

Make my meagre, penny pinching, attempt seem very inadequate by comparison! I'm sure we would all like such perfection, but to me, its seems to bebordering on the too extreem.

John. (wondering if I can afford st.st. wheel nuts).

                Hi John

Chill. When your car is on the road it will be your own special machine and one which you will be proud to be seen in on a public road.

That blue one is too clinical to use! Plus it will devalue quickly as it deteriates through use.

Keep up the good work on your machine.

                Cheers

                Bruce

John, think of the satisfaction you'll get from knowing you built it!! I don't have the time, space, patience or money to do mine:?

I feel a lot better now! Thanks for your encouragement. But what has really helped, in a moment of self flagellation, wasto look at those pictures again! I've been clicking on those thumbnails only to view the pictures at enlarged scale of a postcard, I wanted full screen! I've found that this could be achieved by viewing the pictures in a slide show, and behold.... The car is only mortal! It has faults, blemishes and repair patches. I can say "that's just like mine!" or that my repair is even better.

I do take solace from knowing that my efforts will be my reward, and I do still look forward to the year (day) I will be able to reap those rewards, but I must admit I'm still blown away by those polished trailing arms!

Not sure if this will help you guys with right hand drive stags butfor those that have left hand drive, tonight I have just finished making a complete set of steel brake lines for the stag that i am restoring and have just a short piece, approximately 1 ft,left over from a 25 ft roll.

                        Now isn't that a piece of useful,maybe useless,information
