John, they come jetted asfor the Ford V6. For all round economy and performance this seems to work well, but going up a size on the main jet seems to release a bit more power, but will no doubtincrease fuel consumption. Also there is the variability of the engines.Type of exhaust manifold, and variations in valve and ignition timing and compresiion ratiowill give different results for optimum jetting on each engine.

I can order carbs with different jets fittedif anyone wants, and I can supply jets, or you can order them from any Weber agent (eg Weber Concessionaires, Sunbury-on-Thames).

Interesting set-up on Dan's car. Clearly all that ducting isn't going to help on a rolling road test but I would have thought that the ram air effect when on the move would overcome this pressure drop.
I've no idea how much benefit the intake duct provides? The lower temp. alone would be significant. Has anyone tried to quantify it?

I'm fitting an O2 wide band gauge ,so i will try it with and without my cold air duct to see what the effect on mixture is .
