Exhaust alteration when swapping from auto manual?

    Hi All

Will the existing exhaust off my auto stag fit onto the project car when its built with a MOD gearbox?

I know there are differences between the front pipes on autos and manuals but am I right in thinking the auto box is wider than a MOD and therefore the auto pipes will still clear the MOD?

I am hoping to save some cash as the SS exhaust on my donor car is in good nick.

    Cheers

    Bruce

Auto 35 and Manual A type OD same front pipes.

Manual J type OD front pipes different

Auto 65 front pipes different again!

So if you are swopping to from an Auto 35 to Manual A type OD no change necessary.

Thanks for the info. What's different about them? Will an BW35 exhaust touch a J type box? Or am I missing something else?

        Cheers

Not sure, I guess its also the support brackets that might be different.
