    Keys

    Hi All

I have been wondering does anyone have a set of keys for their Stag like these below. They came with the car and are I believe the master key set?

My other Stag's did not have keys like this so are they unusual or not?

Yup - me too - the colour coding is handy though, although the plastic bits are not very robust in a hot solvent cleaning scenario......

I think the original keys would have looked like this.

Mine have the plastic bit missing, but have a couple of rivits which presumably would have originally held the plastic bit in place.

Stu ,Looking at the state of them i reckon any screwdriver, nail file, tooth pick would do the job.

Back in the Seventies my Dads MK1 had a key similar to those plastic looking tops in style (the clarke and clark ones) but was in fact made in leather with the BL logo embossed on it. His was a 1971 model so they probably changed that at some point to plastic .
