Pics of Pimento stags

Hi all.

After a bit of time off from the stag due to a house restoration project, I'm about to return to the bodywork after Xmas.

I'm going down the pimento route and am undecided wether to paint the rear panel in black or leave it body colour. If anyone can post a couple of rear end pics for me it may help me decide.

I'm not a purist as you can probably tell, but I am fitting chrome sills and the car already has alloys on a MK 1.

MK1 had alloys as an optional extra along with painted wire wheels so nothing wrong with having them fitted.

Personally I would not fitted sill covers they are moisture traps:shock:

I would leave the rear panel body colour as only early MK2 cars have this panel in satin black.

whats the point in having a hard top if you don't use it? besides it gives me more space in the garage to do all those little jobs over the winter.
