[align=left]As many of you know, National Weekend 2010 will be held at Fontwell Park, Nr Chichester, West Sussex. This is the first time that the event has been held in this part of the country and we would appreciate your support. This being the 40th year since the production of the Stag, our theme will be 40 years and patriotic.
We intend to have professional caterers cooking a barbeque for the Saturday Evening and also book a band so that everybody attending can join in, not just the 200 or so that are willing to pay a premium for the evening. We have found a caterer that fits the bill and can offer a menu of good quality food who can cope with a maximum number of 250 meals. We will have to subsidise the food and band for the evening and the cost will probably be £15ph with a further reduction for children under 16. What we need is an approximate number of people that are wanting to attend the Saturday evening event, without commitment at this stage, so that we can try to get a second caterer if necessary to cope with everybody’s needs. We are also trying to track down 1970 ‘H’ reg. Stags and proto types etc. for the 40th Anniversary display, please contact me if you can help with this.
