Tonneau drain tubes

Hello Staggers,

Can anyone tell me how to access the tonneau drain tubes as I have just found out mine are blocked.

I have tried to unblock from the bottom but can only get up 2 inches or so before it is solid.

Is it just a case of taking off the chrome U shaped bracket 81292/812971 on body finishers diagram?.

Looks difficult to undo the nut without dropping it down th inside of wing.

Hi Mark,

If you look at the underside of the area beneath those chrome hard top fixings, you should see the plastic tube clipped to the drain hole. Use a pair of long-nosed pliers and you should be able to slip the tube (150835) off the drain (714531/714532). Blow it through, or fit new whilst you are there, and re-fit.

The clips are the spring wire type (GHC405)and can be fiddly, but they are reachable. Patience required.
