One thing to bear in mind is that the price paid does not neccessarily reflect condition, in my case I paid between 2-4k for a car that should really have been priced in excess of 6k

    regards

Of course it depends how long you have had your Stag. How much were they new £2k or so?

        Nice one Steve

I paid 6k for a car thats worth 2k:P.Only kidding but i may have paid over by about £1000 but then again it has a full blueleather interior which every onecomments on favorablyso it'svery difficult to value things like that.
Maybe there should be another poll running long side this one with agreed value .

Mine comes innear the top of the2-4K range, but this was 18 years ago at the height of the classic boom. In reality I should have paid less than 2K. Despite reams of receipts for around 12K of 'improvements' it is still only worth about 6K, so not good for investment purposes, but I have had a lot of fun .

£6.700 three years ago, but Northern Ireland prices on all classics seemed then to be above GB prices. Possibly because we would have to spend a fair bit in getting to see possible purchases there we are inclined to spend a little more on what is available locally.

Mine was £1500 (1984) and it wasn't worth it.

Paid £5.5K for mine on a dark December day 2 years ago. Very happy with price and condition, have only had to spend money to "make it mine". No real major surgery yet, but that rainy day will come. No idea on it's value but I'm not looking to sell anyway and whatever it's worth will never replace the grin I have when I drive her.

£4,400 5 years ago. Good body but I've spent at least £3k on bits n bobs underneath. Probably worth £5-5.5k now

Paid £1200.00 for mine 4 years ago (only needed new wings!!) anyway £5k+ later it's back on the road with another £1k to spend - fingers crossed.

I know I could have bought a 'good 'un' for £7k but equally it could have been an overpriced lemon!
