    headrests

    good morning,

just a quick one , how do you remove the headrests from the seats, I have got some new foams and want to fit them but can't seem to work out how they come off the seats.

    thanks

Unscrew the seat back panel. 4 screws. 2 are hidden at the top of the pocket. You will see a clip on the headrest stalk.

Let us know how you get on Tony. Are these the Aldridge foams? If so, I have some tips if you have anyproblems. I have fitted loads of these.

          Cheers

If you bought the 'one piece - will fit' backrest foams, then prepare for a struggle. My local classic trimmer told me he could get them to fit but it would cost me a fortune for his time as they are badly shaped.

The ones from Aldridge were no problem.

Just the headrest foams from Paddocks , got the seat foams from Aldridge, but not got around to doing them yet.

                regards

Headrest foams are easy. Just place the foam in firstand make sure it is in straight and fitted perfectly, then fit the wood/metal insert.

Backrest foams need trimming quite a lotbefore fitting.
