anyone on here win these? It looked like a genuine bid won it given the time between winning and 2nd last bid.

I was after an ASBO exhaust for the other V8 a few days ago and I was winning until the last 5 seconds. I have contempt for the snipe systems. Every auction should be extended for 30 seconds after every bid in the last minute imho.

What would the point be in extending for 30 seconds, why not a minute, 5 minutes or what?

Trade Me which is the Kiwi equivalent of EBay in "God's Own" auto extends if there's bid activity in the last couple of minutes of an auction. Theoretically it will continue the auction forever until bidding stops. I guess it stops gazumping by people with Broadband over those with dial-up.. if there are any left.
