Wasted away metal cooling pipe

Hi All

Whilst working on the engine today I decided to de-rust the metal coolant pipe which runs from the front of the engine to the heater. After cleaning it up I was disturbed to discover how much the pipe had wasted away where the hose locates onto it. Plus, the hole:X

fit the nice shiny st/steel ones and forget.if you want to keep original think ive got two of the m/steel ones if i can find, yours for the postage.

I bought stainless steel water pipes from Tony Harts Ebay shop, with any luck I will never have to replace them.

Bin it and get a new stainless one. I've had numerous cars and they always end up with pin holes in this type of pipe - even with decent antifreeze. Its not worth the hassle cleaning up an old steel pipe.
