Alloy wheel fitment

Hi,

I have been offered some classic minilight style 3 piece 15" SSR alloy wheels, theyhave been on aHonda Civic!

What is the maximum offset and wheel widththe stag can take? My stag is standard. The wheels are

width 6.5j (i thought you could go up to about 6j)

offset 34 (about 28 is recommended as standardisn't it? do i need to go lower for wider wheels)

pcd 114.3

Will these fit without issue? They have no tyres at the moment, so tyre suggestions would also be great if these wheels are suitable!

Yes 28mm is the Stags original alloy wheel offset.

However the wider you go on rim width, greater than the original 5.5 width, you need to reduce the offset accordingly.

So a wheel off set of 34mm, plus wider rim width, would result in the wheel clashing with the suspension. To get around this you will require to fit wheel adapters/spacers to reduce the offset.

thanks, thats a great site. It explains a lot.

Assuming i have it right, i would need 20mm wheel spacers plus i guess longer bolts. That doesn't make the wheels such a good deal which is a shame as they look like the colour scheme and style i am after.

I'll continue to save for some new ones!

i have 14 inch minilites on my stag that i would consider selling for the right price

they are mint condition and there is 5 of them with wheel nuts and centers Pm me if you are interested
