Here it is all painted up and fitted. Not a lot of clearance to the bonnet release, infact I had to file a bit off the bracket :shock:. Just need some nice weather to try it out now.

hi kevin ,you say the pan is close to the bonnet release ,will it clear, when engine is running ,especially when on choke ,as the engine can run a little uneven when cold , as the holley has no hot air induction whist warming up ?? maybe the slanted hrs adaptor would allow a wider clearance at that point.cheers grahamComment

Looking good Kev,
On the Holley with the 7 deg adaptor it's fine with plenty of clearance,I just angled the snout down a bit more for Kev as his was leaning back with the engine ,but clearly it has got closer to the bonnet release as well.

I've not started it yet so we'll have to see.
Although my engine failed the 50p test
it doesn't rock around much.
I haven't got a Holley it's a Weber/Edelbrock and it warms up fast and doesn't need the choke for very long.
I'll report back after my first run out.
