    Battery - Calcium?

Has anyone fitted a calcium battery as there are 2 options from Halfrauds?

Have charged mine as it was low and within 24hrs of charging it was low again and wouldn't start. I am expecting the worst but when it drops below 12v my CD / Radio comes on when it goes back up to 12v so it may well be the case that it was brought down to about 11.6v due to the drain. Its on charge now and will see in a couple of days if it has held the charge

Mine has a Halfords Calcium battery fitted by a previous owner - it seems to be fine - coupled with a high torque starter motor i have very good starting.

Thanks. I am not what the difference is for example, when it comes to charging it in the future, is it the same procedure? I am not sure what the advantages are compared to lead? I have a calcium one on my BM and was told that I needed a calcium one due to the alternator charge rate is high.

      Cheers
