Other forums are not as good!

Hi All

I have been look at buying a Jeep Cherokee to replace the wifes car and as I have never had a 4X4 I thought I would ask some question the their forum.

Well not a patch on this oneI asked a buying question along the lines of what to look for when buying and are there any common faults with the mechanics.

No responses in 2 days:shock:

We would have respond gone off topic back on again and taken the p*** by now!

This forum rules,

At the moment i have Alan Thomas's engine lift and Tim Shoubrige's engine stand with 4 offers of help to pull the engine out .You can't beat that considering i didn't know any of them before this forum

Surely this must be a contender of Forum quote of the year. This sums up why we all spend (waste in SHMBOs opinion)too much time on here

Stu - What do you expect? Anyway a Cherokee or similar would cost as much to run as the Stag, and not half as much fun! What about a classic Panda 4x4 or a Lada Niva - must be a few left - or wouldn't the wife tolerate Italian/Russian exotica??

Hope you are well and have had a good Christmas - might need your help in respect of Front spring clamps if you still have them - give me a call?

I have 3 other triumph forums on my favorites list but most only get a look a couple of times a week as not much is happening on them, not like this forum

The forums for the modernRover ownersclubs are a great place to bevery helpful, a bit like being here..just can`t keep of facebookat the mo....

Just yesterday I was thinking of how best to eloquently appraise and thank this Forum and its membersfor the year I have been a member of it.

I have made some very good "on-line"and personalfriendsthrough this Forum.

You chaps are THE besta Forum could offer....I have tried otherclubs but, like many here have already voiced,I findthem to be cold and not very helpful.

The only downside is the ADDICTION, to log onand find out whats going on....its something like this lady I use to know who HAD to watch every episode of Neighbours, sad I know.........................

Facebook far too addicitve.....

Great way to keep in touch with peeps and there is a Stag group on there too, (bit quiet tho!)

Hey Stu, why not save up your pennies and buy a 4 x 4 Stag ?There are two out there. Martin.

Buy her that GT6 you were talking about earlier in the yearThat way you are keeping your hand in with Triumphs until you eventually buy another Stag
