What car, what road, what song?

    Hello chaps

My brother has a question that he asks everyone, especially at family gatherings. I posed it on the Practical classics forum and got some interesting answers.

What car? ( I think we all know the answer to that.)
    What road?
    What song?

Answers as long or short as you like.

    Regards Martin.

Stag if you have a passenger or two, something more "point & squirt" if alone and feeling brave.

http://www.tailofthedragon.com/is the road. I lived 15 miles from it for a year (without family) and drove it regularly 4/5 times each week. Still couldn't remember it all.

You need a couple of tunes for this road, 11 miles takes 20 minutes when you're pushing it on a quick bike so more by car. Fleetwood Mac's The Chain looped might be the answer.

On Monday it was a beautiful day (lousy ending with Mrs B in hospital but recovering well now) and the roof was down on the TVR.

The new manifold seems to have got louder after a few miles and it was any road with a load of people or some form of wall or tunnel and lots of throtle in low gears .

All that was missing was "anarchy in the UK" on the iPod though that is sorted as well now

Bring on that sun over the weekend.

                    Hello Chaps
                    This is all good stuff,

My fave Stag drive was up to Edinburgh for the national day about 10 year back. I had the wheel of a 3.9 engined car with a 5 speed ZF box. Once over the boarder I took the scenic road from Moffat . Up in the hills with the sun shining and Motzart's flute concerto playing -It was pretty close to heaven.

Best road near me is a bit between the A24 just north of Worthing to the ~A27 at ferring. A281??? Anyhow it wind through the south downs and is shear poetry. Best with the top down and the manics 'if you tolerate this' at sensible decibels. OOOH Yeah.
