Found my oil leak i think

The stag engine and box is a big lump isnt it .At least it was worth the work as i'm fairly sure i have found a major leak which is the front gearbox seal.

I also note i have the short nose extention so if anyone has a long one to sell i'm interested.

Did you get it on the engine stand ok?

Bruce (Rubce) had a long nose extension and recessed bearing carrier from Martin at Just Triumph at the beginning of the month. Would be worth ringing him, as they are a bit few and far between from whatI have heard.

In with the grinder both sides no messing.down pipes were shot anyway.

Engine lift performed superbly Alan thanks.

How not to fit an oil seal ,rear crank seal was out of true but also was so loose in the housing and very loose over the crankunlike the new one from LD parts which is a good fit in both areas.

Still at least the old seal was so loose it hasn't worn a groove in the crank.
