It'll look like something out of Mad Max with that lot sticking up out of the top of the bonnet. Personally I think he'd be better selling the engine as one lot and the Stag as another. Mind you the Stag looks as though it's only worth buying forit's V5 as its tax exempt
Definately against the rules ... to claim to own something that you have already sold.
I had a guy ring me last week to see if the MG was still for sale that he had seen on eBay.... I hadn't a clue so asked for the auction number ... and there it was in black & white - my telephone numbers against an MG that was being fraudulently sold!
Perhaps I should speak to our security liason person about these scams?
Paul, I have just had this happen to me on the motorbike that I sold. The guy wants money off people in advance and I know he hasn't got the bike or doesn't even own it but is using the picture and details off eBay. Police now involved to sniff it out to protect others.
