Stag fuel gauge

Hi,

Does anyone know if a Jaguar Smiths fuel gauge will fit the Stag? Smiths part # BF2233/00

The sizes are the same and looks the same, would appriciate some help on this as I am looking for a fuel gauge for my 1972 stag and managed to find the above.

Should be the same as they are all made by Smiths.

Thanks for that, have seen it, if I have no luck with the Jag gauge then I will have a bidthere is plenty of time left on the auction.
