Fuel Warning Light

I've got afuel warning lightthat glows constantly even when the tank isnearly full. :?. The light goes out when the wireat the sender is disconnected, which would suggest that the problem is in the sender unit.

The fuel gauge itself seems pretty accurate.

Are the sender units adjustable / fixable.... or do I have to replace the whole unit?

You should be able to see what the problem is if you remove the sender. There must be a short circuit inside.
