There was a Forum member that had a Stag a similar colour to that Aerosilver. I wonder if it his his? I notice that it has a SOC sticker in the window too.

That really is a superb colour, but I haven't yet seen a metallic Stag that looked "right" - sorry.

Agree with Martin, metallic paints don't seem to suit the Stag, however, there is a picture of a graphite bluey grey Stag on the back cover of the mag about 2 years ago that looked stunning, there was an aeroplane in the background.
I was very tempted to spray mine graphite, which is my favourite colour and having sprayed a mini years ago, which got great revues for the quality as well as the colour, was very tempted, BUT, I still prefer black. Always wanted a black Stag after I saw one driving through London many years ago.I only do what the voices in my wife’s head tell me to do!Comment

There is a very subtle metallic British Racing Green one in Surrey - a Jag colour apparently, and very pretty on a Stag.
Also Monstag's is metallic and looks great.

The pewter certainly does suit the stag well
I still prefer my colour changing red/orange depending on the light

Nah not me - mine's a metallic silver-blue (aerosilver is the name of the colour - it's a 70's Ford colour, popular on MkII Cortinas I seem to remember).
That one does look cracking though - I think Stags do suit metallic colours.
