    Xmas holiday.

    Flew out for holiday to San Francisco on Christmas day, missed the snow, got upgraded for free to business class......FANTASTIC!, flew back on Tuesday(6th), missed the snow. Lucky fu**er or what!

    Took this picture of a Studebaker whilst there.

    Thought I heard loads of Stags out there but they were just V8 engines, in virtually everything, even the milk float!

    Glad you had a great time.

    The car looks like a Studebaker Golden Hawk. I remember having a corgi/Dinky model of one when i were a lad.

      I have a couple of pictures of this very car

      I betit was outside or very near the Hotel which is a converted warehouse down near the tram stops.

        There are some serious intakes and tailfins on that car - did they expect to hoover roadkill into the front and somehow spit them out the back to be sliced on the fins??

            The louvres on the bonnet were filled in and without touching the bonnet, I assume it was fibre glass.

              hi all,i think the sunbeam rapier 111a was supposed to resemble this

              steve. ps i had that corgi too.

                  late 80's but don't remember the car then, but went again Sept 2008 thats when I saw the car, it was parked in the same place every day, I think it must have been owned by a worker at the hotel, sure was a strange looking car.

                  like to a driven the stag down the zig zag roadbut had to make do with a Crysler 300C
