This also shows the pickup for the electric speedo. I put 4 magnets on the output of the transmission and covered them with epoxy. I used the small but powerful magnets from a couple of old CD readers.
My fuel level sender was toast. I got a new one compatible with the new gauge, and had to engineer the guts onto the old sender to fit the tank. (Not as difficult as it sounds)
The lighting is terrific, and the brightness control still works.
I'm very happy with the instruments.
Also, you can calibrate the speedo after installation. Take a GPS, and you can get it exact. Especially useful with non standard tires.
