I've got a job

Hi all

Just like to thank you all for your support over the last year since being laid off from JLR

Those of you that brought items off me to help with the running of the Stag last year and funds to go to events.

It's great to be back at work but after a year off it is hard getting back into the swing having to rise at 5:00 am to hit the M1/M25 before too much traffic builds up then fighting my way back through the road works and traffic jams makes for a long day, but hopefully the rewards will be worth it ie the payments into the bank at the end of each month. this should allow me to get to some of the shows I like this year (Prescott, Silverstone classics and of course Stag National)

At least this last year and the forum has strengthened my interest in the Stag

Found out earlier today that i am being laid off at the end of this month :X:X:X

I am hoping to be able to keep the Stag but will have to cut the spendng back to zero fora while me thinks. Wish i could just wave a wond and get the knowledge completed as it is taking ages !!

Darren, i have been in sales most of my adult life, when things are good they are very very good but the bad times can make things a hard, so i always remember the saving for a raining day policy (god i sound like my dad now)

so forgetthat idea - when things are good spend spend spend and to hell with it, and when things are bad get a wife with a good job

sorry to hear you mis fortune but just keep ploding away at the job pages I took eleven months before mine came up then the wait but just keep goig at the knowledge and you'll have another string to your bow to help in these difficult times

don`t worry your not the only one i have been laid - off3 times in the last 12 months,i am waiting for news on my next project, joys of being a sub contractor..keep positive..
