Up for sale again - controversial bonnet bulge

Same price, exact same advert so not sure how 'new' the wheels are. This was one I had a guy check out for me which I turned down. Not knowing enough at the time I didn't want to take a chance.

    http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1231219.htm

Hope someone does and reports back here what the real deal is. Never know, it may be spot on. FWIW if anyone is interested, it's an RV8 which isn't mentioned.

Biggest issue is the seller was pushy so when I declined to buy he told me I was making a huge mistake. I guess the fact it's up for sale4 months later again shows it was his mistake in making me feel pressured. Maybe he'll be more receptive to serious buyers this time around (I can understand seller frustration but being curt is no way to sell something).

I am always on the Pistons website, like clockwork (sad I know) this Stag has nearly always been there.....I think if he changes those atrocious wheels he may get somewhere, and of course his attitude as you mentioned.

    Sukh.

This one is up for sale again on both ebay and Pistonheads.

The seller doesn't seem to know that it has the Leyland P76 4.4-litre V8 conversion. This is a common conversion 'down under' but there can't be many over here.

I brought that Stag! Guy was a bit funny but gave me loads of time to look car over which is what you want, the bodywork is completely rust free and has never been welded! Excellent paintwork when polished up and completely rust free hard top, new soft top require. Engine runs very well but being a little of an unknown is the reason I ended up getting it for a good price, may end up changing it at some point but sounds and goes great. The wheels once had wire trims, very bling! Will change them soon for the originals. Would be interested in hearing from anyone who knows a bit more about the P76, understand that it is a good engine?
