tracing car history with DVLA

Good evening,

The previous owner of my Stag wants to help me tracing back the car's history and all its previous owners. DVLA will not pass any info to a foreigner.

Can you please send me a link to the download for this enquiry form (for a VQ7?)?

What would you enter as a plausible reason for such an inquriy? Like: "I wish tofind outwhether the mileage given is genuine"?

Help!!!

In my application I put down that the vichicle was a classic car which I was the owner of and that it was being restored and any information regarding its history(previous owners, where registered,etc,etc) would enhance the value and appreciationwith itssubsequent on - going history .

Hope that helps, wonder what others put down,.. minesounds a load of blabber:Pbut it worked.

I did mine a few months ago,I just put on the form that I wanted find any information available to compile a history file as part of the vehicle restoration.
