I'm planning to install a radio in the Stag while i'm redoing the interior and dash....... but I'm not exact sure how to proceed of 3 fronts;
firstly the (huge) hole in the dash is too big for a modern (70/80s) radio cassette - so how do I over come this problem (I dont really want to spend silly money on an old style classic radio (I want to have FM and a cassette to get the ipod working!)
secondly, I could fit a new speaker in the original place in the dash, but it wouldnt be stereo - so what sort of speakers are best to fit and where (without major work) - under the back seat - under either side of the dash - cut holes in the cibbies or door cars (not my preference)?
thirdly, currently there are no holes cut in the bodywork to fit an ariel - can anyone recommend an ariel that I could use - either clipped to the A pillar, or one which could be tucked away somewhere out of sight (like in the boot)?
Suggestions gratefully accepted
(and I know. I should be listening to the radio, I should be listening to the engine!)
Thanks
