I need to replace my steering rack, preferably on a deliver-first, then send old for exchange basis. Anyone any recommendations, or avoidances? M & P Steering in Kent seem to be a main supplier to others. Any good? Thanks as always.

hi paul ive used them in the past had an issue with the rack they sent and rang them , then they quickly sent another and collected the old . quite satisfied with them ,that was four yrs back now and still great .ive not heard any bad reviews todate

I didn't use T.D. Fitchett in Telford for my rack, however I did drive someones car who did.... their cars rack feel was better than my rebuilt one.
The result seems to be affected by what core parts are reused & their condition.
If anyone knows of a rebuilder who fits new or reground racks / pinions that would be very helpful to know.
Just a quick update to say the M & P Steering rack I ordered is now fitted and I'm pleased with both the product and the service from Bradley Day at M & P.
