    Autoglym metal polish

Hi have always used the autoglym metal polish that comes in the silver box in a tube on my wheels. Running low I went out to get some but can’t find it but I see that Autoglym have the normal bottles of it instead.

Is is it the same stuff does anyone know as it says don’t use on new chrome so presume it could be coarser than the stuff in the tube

    Any thoughts or experience?
    Cheers

I’ve used Autosol which I think is pretty much the same. Red box or blue box, one leaves a film on the metal to slow down oxidisation.

Thanks, yes, I have Autosol but the autoglym one is more of a chemical cleaner than an soft abrasive. I only use it on the wheels and works a treat

Give white diamond a try. It's makes autosol feel like jiff ops sorry ciff. It has got a cleaning agent in not just a fine abrasive. I use it on my stainless and wheels

I found that Autoglym metal polish did take out the bluing on the TR exhaust tip. So it must be slightly abrasive?
