    Anti- role bars

Has anyone experience of up-rated anti-role bars as sold by Monarch. Theory is improves handling without making suspension too hard.

Was wondering if this is correct ?

    Thanks

No experience of the Monarch anti roll bars, but what I can tell you that I have recently ridden in a stag with front antiroll bar removed.

I know this contradicts all theory on improved handling etc,but what I can tell you is that it was a hell of a smooth ride and lot less bumpy and improvedcomfort.

Has anyone else experience of ride with Anti Roll bar removed?

    Regards Mark

In theory, an uprated front anti-roll bar will increase understeer, but obviously reduce body roll.

It depends what you mean improved handling. What are you trying to achieve?

Suspension upgrades are best done as an all round package, rather than just changing one aspect.

Been running without a role bar for a couple of years but do have very hard springs, great for the track but a bit harsh on the road especially the state they are in at the moment. Was thinking of fitting softer springs with the role bar to keep body role in check but have a more comfortable ride.
