Alloy Wheel Refurbishment

I would like to get my Triumph Stag alloy wheels refurbished. Can anyone recommend any companies in Northumberland, Durham, Cumbria or North Yorkshire.

I would get onto Yell and search Alloy wheel refurb, diamond cutting etc

Some of them operate out of vans and visit you. Some insist on tyres being off the rim before they will even look at a job.

A bit like every town used to have an Autobox specialist (what ever happened to them all) alloy refurb is rife

I found a lot of these 'modern' refurbishers won't do the Stag alloys.

Have you thought of doing them yourself? Not that difficult depending on how bad they are.

I found a lot of these 'modern' refurbishers won't do the Stag alloys.

because they were poor quality and porous when new and that will not have improved with age.

I bought mine new from the brothers a decade ago. the lacquer has just started to lift on a couple of them, else very happy

I still have 5 wheels to sell...3 good and re- polished 1 with a slight nibble out of the rim but was in use, last one was the spare so not polished with new stainless nuts.
