Hi . I was thinking of getting my rear bumper re chromed, does any one know what the cost would be? also can any one recommend somewhere in Essex?

i had issue with the quality of brothers bumpers when I needed one 15 years ago. was like tinfoil so it went straight back
I had an original bumper rechromed which is still perfect, though rust spots do seem to get through if it doesnt get polished often.sort on an annual event for me

I just had a rear bumper quarter with some pitting rechromed at ACF Howell, Walsall. They have a full order book, so had to wait a while, but great job and they come highly recommended. I would always prefer to keep original parts considering the low quality of many replacement parts.£120 for the quarter.
