If you put the Stag on the tow truck and drive the truck yourself you’ll never break down in your Stag.

The Club insurance covers my breakdown recovery, so generally for local driving, I carry a few basic tools, mobile 'phone and a credit card.

For longer trips, especially abroad, belts, hoses etc. which can't be obtained locally or easily. I've also got a spare fuel pump and filter tucked away in the spare wheel well, as that has let me down once before.

I was a real smart a**e. I got my AA membership before I even picked up the millstone.

Being from the dark side (RV8 engine) I won't comment on tools needed.

PS. Box of Swan Vesta, in plastic bag to keep them dry.

A Fuel pump.... Banging with Wheel Wrench didn’t work.
