Has anyone been to see this one? It has been on here before, listed on ebay and on Pistonheads for a while. I know it has the Leyland P76 4.4 engine and some naff alloys, but is the bodywork and paintas good as he claims?

hi dave, what do you know about those engines? i know they are bored out rv8 but are there a lot in aus? i may go and look at this as its just down the road from me
Very little. I didn't realise that it was a large bore version of the ex-Buick V8 until I did some 'googling' recently. Perhaps some of our Antipodean contributors would know.

The car seems cheap if the body is as good as claimed. I was thinking that it may be cheaper to buy this one and put a TV8 engine in it than doing up the body of an original-but-tatty Stag.

Might aswell buy a new XK for half the money!!! I know we like to improve our classics for reliability, but this is just an XK in an old frock!!

My mate has just finished restoring his series 3 V12 2+2. The 2+2 isn't the most attractive but it's still nice, 5 speed and fuel injection British Racing Green
