Took spark plugs out at weekend and 4 were like this and the other 4 slightly darker.
Am I running too weak?
Can't really tell from the pic Andrew, it looks like a new unused plug to me rather than one that has been in regular use.
The Haynes manual has pics of what a plug should look like that is in use, how do yours compare with those pics?
That one looks too weak as well, but not as bad as the other one.
I would start by giving the weakest one half a turn richer and the better one quarter of a turn and see if that helps. If it is too much (or not enough), at least you will know where you started from.
The Strombergs on my Estate were set far too weak for ages, and it now drives far better and is no worse on the fuel consumption now I have richened the mixture

Ok, gave both carbs half a turn clockwise each and both plugs are the same so both carbs are equal. Do theres still look weak? Another half turn maybe?
