Full interior re-fit.

As the title says.

Has anyone had this done by a professional company, if so, can you recommend them?

I know of 2 companies but best to ask on here first.

I do not want to undertake it myself.

Hi Jeff, i have had Aldridge Trim in Wolverhampton do all the seats,headrests and door cards/handles The cost is around £2,500. This is similar to original PV and not leather. I took the seats to them and have refit myself as its straight forward. I won't be doing the carpet until next year. Not sure what they charge if you take the car for them to refit entirely but people do that a lot Stags, jags and lots of other cars are in the workshop. Quality and understanding of the car is very good. They have a Stag Specialist called Luke who is young but good.

i can recomend them they will take 3 to 4 weeks unless you hit a quiet time. Hope that helps.

Not sure, upwards of £2,500 but i wouldnt think more than 3k. They also did my hood and its a nice job.

Jeff i was at Aldridge today and picked up a price list. To fit the com plete interior £2288.09 includes Vat. The cost of all the items needed to Refit is approx £2,680 inc Vat. But that figure could be less depending on whats good to be re used.

To be honest nothing difficult about fitting your carpets, seats and other items yourself so i would save the fitting labour cost and do it yourself supposing your fit and well with a spare weekend. Having said that you should have seen all the classics they had in for full refit today.

From memory I had a bespoke interior made for £3600
leather front rear seats leather tonue cover and t bar
vynle door panels with the same detail as original . Carpet bespoke made with insulation for the boot as well.
my seats did away with the rubber diaphragm and has webbing all new foam in both front seats too.
this was 4 years ago.
when I priced up the kits I found them expensive when compared to leather and I expect when compared to mg we pay the usual stag tax

My interior is currently being done by Jim at SE Trimmings via Trev at Faversham. New carpets and full leather, excepting the dash, is expected to come in at circa £4k - 4.5k

I used these people for a full leather retrim on front seats, rear seat and tonneau panel. http://www.trimtechnik.net/ One of the owners, at the time, had a Stag. They were used by BMW/Mercedes dealerships to retrim vehciles with cloth interiors so their work was good.

I bought doorcards and cubby cards from Aldridge trimming.
