Which vendor should I use to buy a J Type OD rebuild kit?
Which vendor should I use to buy a J Type OD rebuild kit?
I'm aware of the usual Stag places but are there special OD places I should consider for bits and pieces for repairing an OD. I'm rebuilding 1 out of 2. ? If so can you recommend a few? I'm aware of overdrive spares. and over drive repair services.
ORS seem to be the place to go.. I got a cone clutch there and some odds n ends.
The usual UK suspects have a pretty good selection, shipping costs may be the deciding factor for you in CA.
Don' t forget that the TR6 has quite a few common parts so places like Moss Motors, (in CA) Roadster Factory, Engel imports, British Parts NW.
Use the Rimmer site and click on a part you need, it will show all types of vehicle that use that part, a great way to cross reference what you can possibly get Stateside.
