    Rear Cubby Panel removal

I need to get the passenger side rear cubby removed to allow some repairs.

I have removed 2 screws at the bottom and the clips on the seatback reinforcing bar.

Before I start into the B Post interior trim, does anyone have a quick guide to what all I need to do?

I tried a search of the Forum but couldn't find anything.

    Thanks,
    Ken

You dont need to remove the B post trim. You may need to losen or remove the chrome horseshoe though.

There are no daft questions - only Stag owners Martin.

            Yes I agree Martin,
By the time I get this car finished you will all have to be given joint credit

Horseshoes? What horseshoes? Is my Stag missing something? Do you mean 812971 & 812972http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-812971 or am I missing some trim from the seatback bar?
              The answer isn't 42, it's 1/137

Yes you are correct , but I took a guess at what he meant.

I didn't have to remove or slacken them though, just gave the panel a good wiggle.

Hopefully the welder will be in action over the next few days

On most cars the cubby panels come out easily, but a couple of cars I have worked on have had trim clips under the horseshoe thingy (or whatever the correct title is). I hate takingthose bl**dy things off!

I think he means the chrome hard top plates!

Chromed monkeymetal horseshoe shaped hard top fixing plate thingy with a lump of brass underneath, to give it it's proper title. Martin.

Hi Roger, did you really think the hard top engages in a Mazak plate ? There is a brass insert to take the strain.

Any news about my request for info on the baton passing as per last night's email please ? Martin.
