Rimmers new Stag alloys: do they balance?

I'm considering a new set of standard Stag alloys. Rimmers have some that are described as 'factory' Stag alloys. My question is if anyone has bought this product and, crucially, is the centre hole 100% machined centrally for wheel balancing purposes? As some will know, the old originals can be hard to balance because the centre was not 100% as wheel balancing used to be done via the stud holes not the centre. Also, generally, if you have these are you happy with the quality?
    Thanks as always for answers.

I bought a new set of stag alloys at a guess 3-4 years ago. They have balanced fine, way better than the old stag alloys I had did. I can't remember where I bought them from though.
Disappointingly, the lacquer hasn't lasted too well and they could really do with some TLC.

They cured a vibration I had too so I still consider them worthwhile.

Thanks Dave. That suggests that ones made now are indeed machined with central balancing in mind.

As a thought for those with badly balancing original alloys, you could try locating a specialist offering "On Car Balancing". Just googled and found one in Bicester so they do still exist.

Also One of the tyre places round here is aware of the stud balancing thing and has an attachment that "converts" stud centered wheels to center hole centered for the modern machines.. If you find a place that deals with classics a lot they may also be able to do the originals.. Most regular shops would not invest in such a thing.

I purchased a set from Rimmers at the NEC classic car show last year (10% show discount) against some advice that they won't balance, but my local garage fitted them OK, no IMAG9420.jpg problem and balanced perfectly.
I'm very pleased with the result so would say go for it!

I've just fitted some. When checked before fitting the tyres they were only about 5g out. Motorway driving is now a real pleasure.

had my rimmers rimz as a pressie from Mrs Thestag for my 40th. I am 51 later this month "gah where does the time go"

mine balanced fine by the centre holes but the cone lock on the balance machine damages the lacquer around the centre hole. damn and blast. I touched it up so it didnt spread but was unhappy as brand new..

Anyway since then I insist that they fit the stud hole adaptor, which they dont like doing because it takes an extra 5 mins for all 4 rims.

"gah where does the time go" - I am 70 next month - Real question is How does the time go? - Answer FASTER & FASTER being relative to the time you are aware of.
i.e at 5 yrs old one year is a 1/5 of your knowledge at 69 it is only 1/69 i.e. much smaller
                    - And we find more and more distractions (like this) to waste it on.......
