hi folks , every now and again my wipers were blowing the fuse 15 amp I believe , I would change the fuse and they would work okay but I obviously need to find the problem. It is a mark 2 with the intermittent wipe that doesn’t work! . Any suggestions where to start?

Too much load on the wiper motor. U may want to service it and add new grease. If you can you may want to grease that wire. It took me 2 four hour sessions to find why the intermittent didn't work on a Mk2. The problem was in the wipe stalk. Those copper connections needed cleaning. I saved these docs from the web that helped me.

Check those wheel boxes too. but be careful they are made of aluminum and the threads strip easily and are not cheap. The dash board needs to come out for that work. One of the attached doc is for spitfire but worked OK for the Stag. the color codes matched.

The relay that controls the delay system does not have a particularly long life so may need replacing.
